Hometown Hero: SPC John David

I would like to nominate SPC JOHN DAVID from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who is now serving in Iraq with the 983rd Heavy Equipment Operation Unit.

His unselfishness and need to be defending our country in this time of need should be an inspiration to us all. His wife Michele for making the ultimate sacrifice for marrying a man who is part of the Army and knowing that he is there not only as her protector but to every single one of us who call America home.

Thank you John for making the ultimate sacrifice so that I can send this e-mail as a "free" person.

I wanted to let you know how much I love John and his wife, my best friend Michele. They deserve more than the words that I can tell you about them so that they may get a free candle in his honor. But this is the least that I can do for them.

I hope that you are able to get Michele a candle. She will burn it every night and say a prayer for John as she does every night.
